Submission Guide

Submit your abstract – Prepare a concise abstract using the official template and submit it via EasyChair by 31 May 2026.

Undergo review – All abstracts will be reviewed by the Programme Committee.

Prepare your paper or poster – Please use the official Paper Guide, Paper Template, or Poster Template, as appropriate.

Submit your full paper or poster – Upload your full paper or poster by 30 June 2026.

Important Notes

Submission of an abstract is sufficient to be considered for attendance and presentation at SET2026. Submission of a full paper is not required in order to attend or present at the conference.

Authors who wish to publish in the SET2026 Conference Proceedings/Journal Publication may submit their full manuscript up to two weeks after the conference, and it will still be considered for inclusion in the proceedings.

The Editorial Board oversees the review process and makes final acceptance decisions based solely on the academic merit and quality of the submitted work. Conference attendance is not required for publication consideration.

Timeline & Fee

Flexible registration options are available to suit different publication preferences.

Each delegate package offers excellent value and includes conference attendance, conference materials, presentation of one paper or poster, gala dinner, and publication of one paper.

An optional Journal Publication Pathway is available for only an additional USD 150.

Reduced registration rates are offered for students and eligible discounted delegate categories, including WSSET members.

Multiple convenient transportation options are available from Kuala Lumpur's major airports to Premiera Hotel Kuala Lumpur (232 Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, 50100 KL).

By Taxi / Grab

Direct to Premiera Hotel KL — approximately 55–65 km, journey time 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. Metered taxis and Grab are available from the arrivals hall.

By KLIA Ekspres + Local Transit

KLIA Ekspres: KLIA Airport → KL Sentral in approximately 28 minutes (RM 55/person). Trains depart every 15–20 minutes, operating daily 05:00–01:00.

Option 1: KTM Komuter from KL Sentral

KL Sentral (KTM Komuter, Port Klang or Tanjung Malim line) → Bank Negara Station → approximately 8–12 minute walk to Premiera Hotel along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

Operating hours: 06:00–23:30. Ticket: RM 1–2/person.

Option 2: MRT from KL Sentral

KL Sentral (MRT Putrajaya Line) → Chow Kit Station → approximately 10 minute walk to Premiera Hotel.

Operating hours: 06:00–23:30. Ticket: RM 2–4/person.

Option 3: Grab / Taxi from KL Sentral

Take a Grab or metered taxi from KL Sentral directly to Premiera Hotel — approximately 10–15 minutes (RM 12–20).
